Our acquisition of Primera brought two award-winning design and engineering teams together to drive forward innovation and raise the standards in the design, durability and safety of Mental Health doorsets.
On our stand, you’ll find Safehinge and Primera products working together in perfect harmony, with a unified specification team ready to help. Because we’re always listening, our product designers will gather your feedback on improvements to Primera handles and locksets.
Doorset range
In response to customer feedback, we focused on our complete doorsets range – enabling NHS and private providers to source doorsets directly from us. This makes the selection and specification of the right doorset simpler and more accurate, saving our customers time.
And with a complete doorset range available, our stand will showcase some of the best, including:
- An anti-barricade bedroom doorset, with access control on the lock, vision panel and door stop. Emulating the home environment by allowing service users to unlock their own door, it also provides a real-time audit trail to reduce admin time.
- A durable seclusion room doorset built to withstand extreme abuse, designed with timber effect finish to calm and deescalate.
En-suite launch
Following our en-suite voice of customer research at last year’s exhibition, we’ve created a best in class door with no known ligature risk points and a 60-minute retrofit installation time.
We worked closely with architects, clinicians and facilities managers through numerous prototypes and customer feedback sessions to redesign the en-suite door from a blank canvas – addressing the limitations of existing solutions like cut down doors, doors with alarms fitted and foam-type doors.
Our en-suite door will be officially launched at this year’s show and available to purchase from July.
