Speaking about his visit to the facilities in Willenhall, Mayor, Andy Street, said: “Assa Abloy is an outstanding local business success story, and I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of its facilities. After having the chance to interact with employees old and new – spanning the spectrum from apprentices to colleagues who have served the firm for many years – I gained a much deeper appreciation for the remarkable heritage of this company here in the West Midlands.”
After seeing its range of mechanical products, alongside its new digital access control and smart home products, the tour concluded with Andy Street being presented with a personalised padlock to commemorate his visit.
