Polyflor says its new Expona SimpLay PUR range of loose lay luxury vinyl tiles and planks for heavy commercial interiors ‘offers authentic reproductions of beautiful natural materials presented in an adhesive-free, ready-to-lay product designed to reduce installation time’. The 38 ‘stunning designs’ feature a variety of both traditional and contemporary wood, stone, and textile effects.
Polyflor said: “Expona SimpLay’s unique, non-skid honeycomb backing layer and thicker 5 mm gauge ensures the tiles stay in position to create a robust, hardwearing floorcovering for high traffic, heavy commercial environments. Being a loose lay product installable over many different types of existing floorcoverings, subfloor preparation is significantly reduced, and each plank or tile can be installed, lifted, and reinstalled elsewhere, without leaving any residue.”
The new Expona SimpLay collection joins the’ high performance’ Expona range, which now includes Expona Design and Expona Commercial luxury vinyl tiles, Expona Control – reportedly the world’s first luxury vinyl tile featuring ‘sustainable wet slip resistance’, and Expona Flow vinyl sheet flooring.
Like other Expona products, the loose lay floorcovering is enhanced with Polyflor PUR, Polyflor’s ‘exclusive and robust’ polyurethane reinforcement, which is cross linked and UV cured to protect the floor and reduce maintenance costs.
