NTW Solutions (a subsidiary of Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust) has selected Sir Robert McAlpine as its preferred delivery partner for a five-year strategic partnership expected to generate at least £50 m of construction turnover through a range of minor and major capital works.
The announcement, Sir Robert McAlpine’s first award from the Pagabo National Framework for Major Construction Works, sees the start of a strategic relationship designed to embrace and support serviceusers, carers, staff, and the public. Pagabo said: “The successful completion of this programme of works will ensure the Trust continues to perform at a consistently high level, and one that continues to modernise and reform its services.”
John Carson, NTW Solutions’ head of Capital Development and Planning, added: “We are delighted we can continue to attract high calibre construction companies. Mark Gibson, Sir Robert McAlpine’s managing director for the North East, explained that the appointment built on the company’s delivery of mental health projects such as those delivered for Tees, Esk & Wear Valley NHS Foundation Trust.
